ARTE's cultural program Megamix comes to Marseilles to interview Accoules Sax who attack a certain moribund conservatory jazz, provoking an immediate reaction. The band is billed at several Jazz Clubs and play "la Fête de la Musique" the 21 juin at the Hot Brass in Paris. Live recording of Accoules Sax first album « C'est le Moment » (Now's the Time) produced by Accoules Sax.

1991

Accoules Sax meets IAM, Jazz/Rap performance before 5000 people in the heart of Marseilles.

1988

In the old quarter of Marseille, the Panier, a lone saxophonist serenades in the cold winter streets. On that memorable Christmas night, Accoules Sax (a-cool-sax) was born. Soon, one soul sax became six, with a be bop attitude, their stage, the street, their goal, 'let the goodtimes roll'.
